Annapruna Circuit trek is world classic trek with incredible diversity in landscape and culture. Annapurna Circuit trekking is popular destination for adventure trekkers. Annapruna Circuit trek start from Kathmandu to Bulbule by drive 8hrs then start trek next to Tal village which is small beautiful valley on the side of Marshyangdi River. Respectively, Annapurna Round trek follow to Marshangdi river all the way to Manang valley. Manang is the gateway village of Annapurna Round trek as well as Tilicho lake trek. Tilicho lake 4900m is the highest lake in the world.

Annapurna region is best described as the most happening incentive trekking destination of Nepal. The Annapurna Circuit Trek has been proved as a highly praised and spectacular trekking route in the Annapurna region since it opened to foreign trekkers in 1977. This three weeks trek starts right from Besishahar and goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great view of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. This magnificent trek leads you to the fine village inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups, offering spectacular and majestic view of the white Himalayas. As it continues to the north of the main Himalayan range on to the high and dry Tibetan Plateau, the scenery is equally breathtaking.

The highest point of the trek is Thorong-la pass at the top of the valley at 5416m altitude. Due to the difficulties of crossing the pass, the circuit is usually walked in a counter clockwise direction. From the arid valley of the upper Manang, home of Tibeto- Buddhists, down to the Hindu pilgrimage site of Muktinath, and the Kali Gandaki valley, the world's deepest river george, before heading down to Pokhara. Besides the mountain views, we encounter on this trek a variety of mountain communities of the Gurung, Manangi, Thakali and Magar people. Trekking clockwise the longer ascent and shorter descent from west to east is adventerous to make it top and the crossing of the Thorong-La pass (5,416m) is a challenging ascent, surrounded by some of the most magnificent mountain ranges.

Drive to Besishar (7 hours). It is about 185km from Kathmandu. On arrival at Besisahar you will witness stunning snow caped mountain scenery. Overnight at a guest house.

The trail climbs to Tyanja at 2360 meters, then continuing through forest, but near the river, to Kopar at 2590meters. As we reach the Chame, the headquarters of the Manang district, we are rewarded by the fine views of Annapurna II as you approach Chame & two small hot springs by the town. Along this route we are introduced to a local community said to have migrated from Tibet a long time ago, noticeable by their different features. With them, they have brought local Tibetan house designs and maintained their ways.

A steep and narrow path through a very dense forest will bring us to the dramatic curved rock face, rising 1500m from the river. This is probably the steepest part of the Marshyangdi Valley, so steep that the trail is carved into the vertical rock. After passing this last bit of rock, the valley opens up with majestic vistas. And right where the valley widens stands the Paungda Danda, a massive sloping rock face that rises over 5,000ft (1500m) above the trail. We trek for a while before reaching Lower Pisang where we spend the night.

There are two routes to Manang but we follow the trail that takes us to Upper Pisang via Geru. This trail guarantees excellent views of the beautiful landscape and the mighty mountains including Annapurna and Pisang.  We begin to notice a contrast in the landscape and vegetation from today. The cold and dry climate also creates a much harsher environment. Our short visit to Barge monastery, the largest monastery in the entire district of Manang will be memorable. Overnight at Manang.

In order to keep fit on the trails that follow, we keep ourselves busy today with a short hike to either Bhojo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake. If we have the energy, we can even hike to Vraga Village where we can visit the Himalayan Rescue Association which will give us some idea about Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Overnight in Manang

Today is a long trek starting before sunrise at 4 am to reach the pass by 9-10 am otherwise weather conditions will greatly affect the journey. We cross over at an altitude of 5416 meters we can be exposed to strong winds if crossing too late. We start to climb steeply that is regularly used and easy to follow. However, the problem may arise due to the altitude and snow. It often causes terrible problems to cross the pass if it is covered by heavy snow. About four hours climb up to the pass marked by the chortens & prayer flags. As you reach the top, you are rewarded by the magnificent view from the top with another 4 hours trek will take to the holy town of Muktinath.

Muktinath means place of Nirvana and is home to the Muktinath temple as well as several monasteries. It is said that all sorrows you feel are relieved when visiting the Temple, which is a scared pilgrimage site to both Hindus and Buddhists. The main pilgrimage normally takes place in September. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and has 108 waterspouts around it from which Holy water pours. Another attraction nearby is the Jwala Mai Temple this contains a spring and an eternal flame fed by natural underground gas. Overnight at Guest house.

Trek to Nyapul and drive to Pokhara. Walking 5 hours and drive for an hour, O/N at hotel at 3 stars,

After breakfast, we say goodbye to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara and drive towards Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, we have the rest of the day off to rest or do some souvenir shopping. To celebrate the successful completion of our journey, we will have a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.

We will drop you at airport. Fly back to home.

                                              • The Annapurna Circuit trek is a popular trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal that takes trekkers through a diverse landscape of forests, rivers, and high mountain passes.

                                              • The Annapurna Circuit trek is a challenging trek that requires a good level of fitness and endurance. The high altitude and long days of walking can be demanding, but it is manageable with proper preparation.

                                              • No, you cannot use cards during the Annapurna circuit. We recommended you carry enough cash in Nepalese Rupees to use during the trek.

                                              • To be honest, we cannot compare the Annapurna Circuit trek and the Annapurna base camp trek. Both these treks have completely different trekking routes, difficulties, and experiences. We recommend both treks for all adventure lovers.

                                                Professional, Smooth and Wonderful Trekking

We booked Annapurna Circuit trip via Raj and his team and had a great experience with Dilip our guide and Krisna our porter. According to own wishes we changed plans to stay longer in Manang which A1 organised smoothly. The communication was always friendly and professional. We also prolonged the trip with a flight and pickup in Lumbini, which all worked out well. We felt “in good hands” the whole time. Definitely a recommendation m, especially if you are a beginner in trekking or first time in Nepal.
