We went in a seven(7) day trek to "Poon Hill" in the Annapurna Conservation Area, organised by Raj and his expert team of travel consultants. Not really being trekking types, Raj went through all the alternatives that would be within our capabilities, and tailor made a tour that was fantastic. A1 excursions organised our flights, accommodation, our guide and porter for our group of two travellers. Not only that, he stayed in contact with our guide every day to make sure that everything was progressing as expected. Our guide Asta was extremely attentive to our needs, very informative, and patient with many requests to wander off to have a look at the local villages and meet the local Nepalese. To be fair the trek itself was pretty difficult and tested us physically, but the satisfaction of completing it, and experiencing the many highlights along the way more than compensated. Staying in the "tea"houses on the various trails was a great experience, being able to meet and talk to fellow travellers, and eating simple local nepalese cuisine (including garlic soup) an enjoyable part as well. We have been so impressed that we are now converted and look forward to going back for the next adventure Raj may have in store for us.

Best journey ever- Annapurna Base Camp Trek
I travel a lot but this trip to Nepal with a group of 20 persons (Kathmandu, Pokhara, ABC Trek) - organized & accompanied by A1 - was one of my best journeys ever. And this was not only because of this wonderful country and it's specific spirit. The crew of A1 was so sincere, very professional, always ready to help, prescient and very pleasant throughout the complete trek - no matter if it was the porters, the guide, the cook or the managing director! And it all came from heart. I highly recommend A1 Excursion!

Just amazing
In March we made the Anapurna trek with A1 Excursion for 11 days. It was an amazing trip with these awesome, friendly and helpful guys. They always looked for us and made our trip as comfortable as possible. They took care of us and served us like a mother :) Any time I come back to Nepal, I'll plan my excursion with A1 only for I felt so much in good hands. Every thing was very well organized and last not least the meals they prepared for us were each day another highlight. Thanks very very much to Raj and his team for this phenomenal time!

Great Manaslu Trek
We had a great Manslu Trek and a few days around in Kathmandu and Nagarkot in March 2016 with this travel agency. Everything was well organized.They were really familiar and professional together. Befor we knew, that there could be a problem, they solved it ! I really recommend this agency. Great guide, great porters, great cook. And an overlooking chief of company, who cares for his guests.

In the care of angel
We went trekking for 12 days in the Annapurna nature reserve guided by A1 and their crew of guides and porters. It was an amazing experience. They took so good care of us, that I can only call it deep felt love from the bottom of their hearts. They were always aware of us and there if someone needed help or forgot some of their belongings at a tea house. They were great company for cards games and talks about Nepal and invited us to booze and dance on the Holi festival. Tears start coming down, when I think of what a wonderful time I've had in their company!
Thanks to Rajkuma and everyone at A1 for this breath taking trip through the Himalaya accompanied by love and kindness!

A Great Trip to Everest Base Camp
We had a 12 day trek to Everest Base Camp and it went so well! Everything from the pre-trip correspondance with A1 Excursions to our departure from Kathmandu was well cared for by Raj and his team. Prior to beginning our hike we were introduced to our guide for 12 days, Dorjee. Dorjee is truly a top-notch guide who stands out for his professionalism, experience and kindness. While EBC is do-able without a guide, we found that with Dorjee we were given insight into culture and landscape which we wouldn't know otherwise. We also found a peace in knowing that all the details were cared for, which allowed us to enjoy the trip all the more. Our trip was one that we will never forget, and I would recommend it to anybody. Thank you A1 for all that you do.
